An Unusual Pet
An albino skunk was found wondering in a UK community. Obviously someone's pet, it is being held at a local vet's office till its owner is located. When rescuers gathered the animal up it sprayed them but has been friendly since. Unlike here in the US, skunks are not allowed to be descented in the UK. There's one pet you want to keep happy!
Lovely Lavender
No one is sure why this squirrel, caught by a PA couple, is purple. It could be a dye job or natural causes but it sure is a cute little guy.

Where Women Look Best
This Clairol ad claimed that "The average American woman looks her best in the bathroom." Which suggests the ad-men must have spent a lot of time spying on women in bathrooms to find this out.(via Kitchen Retro)

According to this LIFE magazine article, art collector Henry Clews had a taste for the bizzare, as seen in the statue above. His French Mediterranean home is now a museum, and you can visit, or even apply for an arts residency there!
