Yeah, I feel the same way about Keira Knightly.

OK, that was one of the creepiest things I have ever seen on here!

AGFH--you'll note that I had no words with which to introduce this creepy clip!

They mention proceeds at the end but don't say how much. I find it funny how these freaks are commissioned to go out, preach and spread the word but they always charge for it. Now that's love.

1) Putting your lipstick on in the rearview mirror is not taking your eyes off the road for "just a moment"
2) If this woman was convinced she was going to die maybe she walked in front of the car
3) "invisible shield of protection on the driver's side" WTF? Someone on the side of the road as you go past would hit the passenger side
4) If their religion helps them get through the grief of loosing a loved one fine, but I still think they're all f*ing nuts
5) I will stick with going from guy to guy thank you!

She seems so unmoved by gods plan to kill that woman that I'm not sure I even believe it happened. Wouldn't you be a tad more upset reliving such a traumatic event?

Wow, where to begin?
-Her eyes go all Manson when she mentions Jesus or The Lord
-The fact that it sounds like she did absolutely nothing for this poor woman for a whopping 45 until the ambulance came
-The complete lack of true guilty feelings. She says at one point she was sobbing and saying "I'm sorry", but how can you truly be sorry if you think that God wanted you to put on lipstick and run over that woman?
-Was that the actual road where it happened? Gruesome.
-The scenes where the camera was filming from the side but she was looking ahead weirded me out.
-Isn't it a sin to claim to know the mind of God? Maybe Satan was hiding behind a shrubbery waiting for her to drive by, and it was him who pushed her in front of the car.
-A "portion" of the proceeds?!? I'm pretty sure that if the good lord above did, in fact, make her commit vehicular manslaughter, He wouldn't be so keen on her profiting from it!
-"I went from boyfriend to boyfriend"... I bet those were good times for the guys involved!

So let me get this straight.
Step One: Murder innocent person with my car.
Step Two: Blame it on God.
Step Three: Profit.
Sounds simple enough. Now, where did I put those keys?

Mark--sounds like a plan!

I was tempted to turn it off at about the 3 minute mark, but then, since I had the time, I looked at the tags for this offering. There was death, religion and sexuality. Aha! By then Mr. Jarster had invited her to the funeral, welcomed her with open arms and was leading her towards the sofa. Double Aha! I was convinced he was going to jump her bones right there, and thus pass on the spirit of godliness grom his late wife to her. I waited and waited for something to happen, but it didn't. Alas. That would have been weird.

So how would you deal with, in the absence of faith? Perhaps a 16 yro girl should indeed have killed herself in remorse rather than finding a key to continuing? Or perhaps she should have simply discounted the life she ended and chalked it all up to "fate" or "chance"?
Posted by Jeff on 11/11 at 12:30 PM
Respectfully, Jeff, "fate" and "chance" are just other words for "God wanted it to happen that way."
If we can agree that God is all-knowing and all-powerful (as Ms. Ethridge would seem to be telling us), then the woman dying was part of His ineffable plan, which isn't ours to question. But methinks that's not a great selling point for a book by God's instrument of destruction.
(And I'm fully aware that my previous comment is pretty cynical, yes, but I'm not required to recognize God's presumed forgiveness of those who kill others, especially when the killers use that to make money.)

In the absense of faith you deal with it by accepting fault for not watching the road while you put on makeup in the car.

The accident-- (no, wait, she says it wasn't an accident; she was on a mission from God)-- the hit job-- must have knocked her camera out of whack, because this whole movie is seriously out of focus, especially at the sides of the frame.

Alright, leave the woman alone, people. She's just trying to share her heart with others and I think it's actually quite beautiful. I'm kind of upset at WeirdCentral for posting this, and for having to suggest the weirdness by tagging "sexuality". I've dealt with all different types of people in my life, including born-agains, and that's just how they talk. Stop being obnoxious fourteen year olds waiting to say "that's what she said" after every far-fetched inuendo.
Posted by lalala on 11/11 at 06:26 PM
lalala she's trying to profit from killing someone. I've dealt with alot of born agains too and alot of them (at least the ones who are out preaching or spreading God's word)are opportunists who feed off of other peoples need to believe in something more. That is what this parasite is doing.
Posted by Madd Maxx on 11/11 at 06:34 PM
I kept waiting for a car to come up behind and run her over.
Posted by Robin on 11/11 at 07:32 PM
Thats what she said!
Anyhow, I too know lots of Born agains. Im sure im offending someone with this, but they are sad pathetic people. They usually just turn to god/religion to replace an addiction. They then take their "love of god" too far.

My initial thought at seeing this was,"WTF?!!!" Here's my breakdown of the actual incident:
1. Vain teen hits woman.
2. Vain teen stops car to look at woman; notices woman is face down on the side of the road.
3. Vain teen runs to nearby house, calls 911 and her mother.
4. 45 minutes elapse, during which neither vain teen, her mother, nor the elderly house owner assist vic.
5. Ambulance arrives and takes vic, now stone cold, away.
Enough about a 16-yr old's bad judgement (this is, in fact, why they can't drink or vote). WTF was wrong with the adults?
