Teenage Catgirls In Heat

I have not yet watched this 1997 film from infamous Troma Studios, but I could not resist putting up this trailer.

Have any WU readers actually subjected themselves to this one?

NOTE: clip is very mildly NSFW.

As a cat lover, I find this offensive. And so do my cats. LOL ~ just kidding but this is beyond lame, were these cat-girls on catnip? LOL

Anyone fessing up to having watched this from beginning to end wins the Weird Contest hands down!

Sure I have. It's a Troma classic, up there with Toxic Avenger and Tromeo and Juliet.

Never seen this one, but if its as good as Orgasmo, its worth watching.

Damn! I had to respond with "a dog" when my wife asked me what kind of pet I wanted to get. Looks like a teenage catgirl in heat would have been the way to go.

Nothing says "quality" quite like Troma.

It’s hilarious; we bring it out every few years during Bad Movie Nights along with classics like Cannibal: the Musical and Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.

Troma studio films are awesome! My all-time favourite is "Sgt Kabukiman, NYPD". Sure, they're cheaply made, the stunts and special effects are horrible, and most of the acting is second-rate at best- but they are a lot of fun to watch, and isn't that the whole point of watching a movie?

i used to watch all the b movie horror flicks on a late night show when i was a kid. they guys who hosted the show would put on skits after commercial breaks while they played the movies. it was on at midnight on friday nights. they'd play stuff like 'abbot and costello meet frankenstien' or the 'mud monster'
we loved it! LOL

At Max Kaehn: What?! Lost Skeleton of Cadavra isn't a bad movie. It's great. It's a comedy. It's a parody. And the acting is pretty damn good to make it seem like they are really acting that badly. You can tell when acting is bad. But that acting is good (relative term, as it may be) acting to make it look like bad acting. Everything in that movie is done on purpose to make it look bad as parody of B-movies.

And while I've never seen Teenage Catgirls in Heat I did buy my bad movie buddy Cornman: American Vegetable Hero for his birthday. (I originally saw the trailer here at WU.) We haven't had a chance to get together and watch it yet, but we hope to soon.

Ah.. Quality cinema at its finest. Frankly, I'd be disappointed if I had any expectations of it at all.

I remember seeing the box for this at a local video store once. I thought to myself "You know.. that can't possibly be good..." Glad to know I'm vindicated without having to watch it.

I love the tag line for the movie:
"When they rub against your leg, 'you' cough up the hairball !!!"
Yeah, that sounds sexy! tongue laugh

Maxx makes an excellent point: What am I doing keeping cats, when I could have pet teenage catgirls in heat instead?

Also check out the Japanese version (remake? original?), "Catgirls in the Hot Springs" (in the same YouTube group as "Teenage ... in Heat").

I bought it for $1.50 online and it was the best buck and change I ever spent. This movie rules so hard, I had to track down half the cast/crew and interview them mercilessly. Seriously, look:
