If your honeymoon plans included a three city tour of monster truck shows you may be a red neck.
My brother used to drive some of this mechanical silliness and it's quite something to behold when you see if from the inside out.
For example: 1,200BHP for all of 30 to 45sec then rebuild the engine.

Because of monster trucks? Not sure I see the connection.
Idiotic attitudes towards drugs and sex, that I can see.
Monster trucks? Not my cup of tea, but not something I would condemn a country for.
How do you feel about people being trampled to death on a routine basis at soccer matches?

I have to admit, I've never understood what the attraction is for these monster truck events...or rodeos either. and yes, country music sucks too. Then again, it's Monday and I hate lots of stuff on Mondays..

I have a cousin who drove a monster truck for a few years, then went on to become a bounty hunter ... yup, I live in the south. But aside from his career choices, he's not that oddball of a guy.

expat that is such a sad song. 
i think the monster trucks are cool, but i like big equipment and semi's too. the coolest thing i ever got to do was drive a 1070 case tractor. the front tires weigh 1000 pounds apiece if that gives you an idea of how big it is. very cool! i also like tractor pulls. hey...i just might be a red neck.
