Shoplifter Wrote Address On Job App; Dayton, Ohio: A man shoplifting at a clothing store filled out a job application with his real address before he left and set off the alarms.

Another BB Gun Robbery, Deadly; Chicago Ill: Ernesto Garcia decided to use a BB gun to rob a gas station. The weapon looked like a real handgun. So, one can assume that the police thought it was real when he refused to put it down. Garcia was shot eight times by the Chicago Police Officer. Garcia was a suspect in 25 other robberies.

turtle hunting- dangerous? i guess if it's big enough but i always think of turtles as little.(i know they all aren't) doesn't seem like there would be a lot of interest in it.
garbage clocks- some of them are cool, but some are just dumb.(tuperware)
131- wow that's dedication.
11 yr old- precotious little tyke. his parents must be proud.
shoplifter- appearently he needs the job and then he could BUY things.
bb gun- if he refused to drop the weapon then it's his own fault. cops have the right to defend their own lives. some people don't get that. the cop is supposed to realize that the real looking weapon isn't and not shoot in that split second. cops have families to go home to as well.

Patty, Considering my profession, I agree with you one hundred percent. My last article involving the BB gun robbery had the Milwaukee cops aiming their new assault rifles at the kid. If you are bringing a gun to robbery, it better be real, because the cops are going to act like it is. No sympathy from me.

I used to work in a bookstore and a guy came back in the music/movie department, where I was working, with an application in his hand and I caught him trying to steal a dvd. I'm pretty sure the guy I caught didn't turn his application in though.

Shoplifter - I understand how stupid these people are, but do they not read a newspaper or watch the news?! The fact that no one seems to be learning boggles the mind. (I guess it's a good thing I like boggle).
