They’ll Do It Every Time
When I was a kid, I loved the comic strip THEY'LL DO IT EVERY TIME, by Jimmy Hatlo. It was one of my first introductions to poking fun at irrational or weird human behavior. What I did not quite realize is that the strip had a revival under artist Al Scaduto. But unfortunately, he passed away on December 8, 2007, and his last strip ran on February 3, 2008.
Here's an archive of that current version.

I remember reading it when i was a kid, too. Was always one of my favorites. I rediscovered it again 5-6 years ago and read it all they way til Al passed away. That was as big a bummer as when Tom Ryan retired and quit doing "Tumbleweeds".

I fondly remember reading the Bob Dunn version of "They'll Do It Every Time" in the 1960s and 1970s. Our newspaper (The State, out of Columbia, S.C.) didn't carry it, but The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle did, and my aunt Willa May Yonce in Johnston, S.C., would save her Chronicle "funnies" for me to read whenever we visited.
