Never been to the bar but when we were about 20 miles north, on Texas Route 54, out of Van Horn one of them ran along side the car for about a block and a half before disappearing into the scrub.

I used to be a pedicab rider down in Austin. The Jackalope is an excellent dive bar, and one of many unique establishments in Austin.

I frequent this establishment, the food is great and the drinks are cheap. The fact that they blare punk rock and hardcore music all night doesn't hurt either.

I went there while visiting my Phd candiate friend in austin. Front of the bar is full of attractive girls in nice dress and the back, outdoors, is full of punks and normal people. Graet drinks and while we were there they played Alien on the TV's. Perfect atmopsphere!!!! I reccomend you all go!
