Or... How to Turn an Otherwise Pretty Girl into a Freaq
Posted by Expat47 in Athens, Greece on 01/08 at 10:54 AM
She looks hella hot to me... when you start getting to the Ms. Olympia-sized female bodybuilders, that's when it gets too much for me. This competitor though has great form, skin tone, hair, and she's cute in the face. Nothing mannish on her, just a great looking athlete.

Why does she look reptilian to me??

Yeah, like Rolo said, she's the height of Femininity compared to some, like Iris Kylie:

Like their male counterparts they are feats of athleticism and the power of the human will over human limitation, but they're not everyone's cup of tea.

Iris looks lilke her boobs have been relocated!

Boobs are fat, and these women don't have any fat. If they have boobs they're implants, usually put under the chest muscles so as to not interfere with flexing and to make those muscles look bigger.

that's an extreme look. a little too much maybe.

It is a shame when women go overboard like that. She is very cute, but the body is sickening. I don't mind a really athletic woman with a toned body; that is actually very sexy. but this is way too much. I can't help but think every time I see something like this, "steroid junkie."
Yes, I realize that they do not ALL use steroids, but it sure looks nasty in the steroid-abuse kind of way.

Most of the time, when these type of girls are not all pumped up for competition, they look a little better. Still a little scary, as I would not want to be with/date a chick that might be able to kick my ass!

When these women "push", the baby flies out and knocks over the attending physician....

wayne- might? LOL

I am sorry, but these women don't even look human any more. I don't find this attractive in any way - instead I find it repulsive.

It's the kegal muscles that would worry me the most grrr

I'm with you, Zaphod.

They're no different than their male counterparts in their drive to be more than you or me; I doubt the standard Mr. Olympia is most women's cup of tea, either:

Posted by patty on 01/09 at 05:25 PM
Gahh! Yeah, those guys are even more freaky.

Interesting how judgemental people who have previously championed the 'everyone is great just the way they are' idea can be . . . smile

seeing someone work that hard to look so far outside the accepted norm is just odd. it is almost akin to being an anorexic. having a skewed body image of ones self causing one to go to extreme measures to adjust the image, and ending up at the far other end of the scale so to speak. they can do as they like i'm not judging, but i do not find it attractive either.
Posted by patty on 01/09 at 07:33 PM
you guys have no idea what bodybuilding is about. it's an artform. it's like sculpture only with the human body. before you talk shit or judge, learn something about what you're talking about.
yeah that's me and i've worked my ass off to look like that. also, if you knew anything about bodybuilding, you'd know we look like that for HOURS!!! i look NOTHING like that right now!! i was dieted, dehydrated, exhausted, and carbed up. you can only do that on one day and to time it right is it's own science.
i was always athletic and an extreme person. Bodybuilding is an extension of that. and there are a world of people that respect the shit out of it. and i guarentee if you met me in person you wouldn't think it was so gross.
