Me likey!
I'd like to share a word that I picked up recently. "Sardar", in some parts of India, is slang for "dingbat". I think it's relevant here.

it sounds like he's giving her credit for wielding a bit more power than she possesed. she is publicly ridiculed and reviled by both sides. dems see her as a right wing nut and reps blame her for mccain's loss. she didn't even have the strength of character to finish her term as gov. of alaska.

This guy should be made King. He knows everything without question and can dismiss anything believed by others by simply citing one tangentially relevant factoid. Considering the role the "dems" and the "reps" have taken in destroying America, if they are ridiculing and reviling you, you are probably in the right place.

Both "reps" and "dems" ridicule and revile bin Laden but I wouldn't consider him in the right place.

he must be in the right place, seeing as the entire us military as well as un forces have been unable to find him for the last 9 years.(unfortunately)

It's always hard to find dead men. Just look for Jimmy Hoffa.

I consider SP's popularity to be of particular weirdness and her manner of speaking is pretty weird too, however I don't see this vis as weird.

Sorry, I meant *vid*

I can't stand this woman and actively avoid reading or watching anything with her in it. That said, I have yet another excuse to never watch Fox news (since she just accepted a job there).

she will probably just quit in the middle of her contract nethie. LOL

Woah! Talk about ditto heads! Opinions are ok, but opinions based on knee-jerk misinformation doesn't set well with me.

she's just another politician, no better or worse than the rest. i found fault with her for walking away from her commitment to the people who elected her in alaska. had she become vice president then leaving the govenorship is understandable. it is accepted in american politics that if a public figure wins higher office he/she leaves the previous position between elections. she left the people of alaska hanging for no good reason. she should have fulfilled her commitment and then not run again if she no longer wished to serve. her far right politics are just that- the same as the rest of the far right. typical cookie cutter politician.

Patty, the reason she gave up her governorship was because it was costing the State and her personally way too much. She saved the state hundreds of thousands of dollars by resigning. The reason for these costs were the frivolous lawsuits brought by - you know who. You may not believe facts, but that's the way things were.
I know what it means to be unjustly hounded. I think she did the right thing for everyone.

Stan, that's straight bullcrap from that demon's lying lips and you know it. She left the people of Alaska hanging so she wouldn't have to legally answer for her cheating the people, abusing her position, and basically, making a complete mockery of government. She is in no way imaginable, an honorable or intelligent candidate for anyone other than her hillbilly fans. Are you one? Sorry, WUvians, for my political beliefs but I cannot let that lie continue to be quoted.

Stating an opinion as a fact does not make it a fact. Political beliefs are just as unbelievable as religious beliefs, and just as reliable.

I hope someday people will start to become smart enough to recognise opinions when they spout them and admit to the deception.

I agree with Brian on this one, and for that very reason, I refure to discuss religion and politics in public.

Wayne I know how you feel. I had a favorite message board that had separate a forum for politics, specific sports topics and a general off-topic forum. After the frustration of trying to discuss any subject in the political section I stopped visiting that forum. Recently I've stopped visiting the off-topic forum because posters can't keep the politics out. As an example a video commemorating a medal of honor winner was posted. That was cool to celebrate a hero, but why did the poster have to then disparage a national politician who was decorated in the same war?
