Some states (including FL, I believe) require a convict to serve around 2/3s of a sentence that has a term but with a life sentence, they can be eligible for parole sooner in many cases. So they may have actually helped him. The minimum service for life in prison for capital offenses is only 25 years.

Barcelona: According to the article, the human prostitutes feel that the opening of the robot brothel denigrates real sex workers to merely being an object. Interesting argument.
