A Knight in her Armor
Came across this in
Newsweek, Jan 19, 1953. I bet a lot of WUvies were pretty weird as kids, but how many of us wore suits of armor to school? And this was several decades before the invention of Dungeons & Dragons. I wonder what became of Tina Inge. She's quite likely still out there somewhere, but is she still wearing her armor?

Got to give her parents credit for not promoting out-of-date gender biasis by telling their daughter that girls couldn't be knights.

Today she'd not be allowed into school as she's, obviously, sporting gang colors and wearing & carrying weapons.

Reminds me of the tin man from Wizard of Oz. She is a cutie, nice that her parents encouraged her interest in history in such a fun way.
