A Pig In Sheep’s Clothing

Mangalitzas are a breed apart, so to speak. Originating in Austria/Hungary they are a hardy breed of pig that do well even in cold winter weather. When I saw the Sky News story I initially suspected the pictures were photo-shopped, but found they were real, and really cool too!

I'm getting slow in my old age! A girl beat me to my punch-line!

You'll need to add those Highland Cows too, Patty.

If you heard a pig sequel during a butchering it was a job poorly done!

awww mario that makes me sad. maybe humanity will go out with a whimper rather than a bang. when we become so far removed from the process of aquiring the necessities of life that killing a poor defenseless plant to feed ourselves becomes abhorent as well. think it is ridiculous? then what do you think someone from 1910 would make of peta and vegans? perhaps, we as a species have to be tough enough and strong enough to deal with the less than pleasant necessities of survival or be selected by nature for extiction.

we don't need et with a cookbook, just go for a hike in bear or cougar (not THAT kind mw!)country or a swim in the ocean in a shark infested area. we aren't the top of the food chain because nothing can overpower and eat us, we are there because we have a mental edge (getting smaller by the day if you read chuck). :coolsmirk:
