As they say, a simpler time. I wonder where that car is today.

I was still in 8th grade in 1955. And that was a simpler time. It was a time when a man working at any honorable trade from executive to street sweeper could afford to live in decent quarters, put good food on the table, keep his wife at home to raise the kids, and still set aside money for college funds and retirement.

Now we live in a time when the government and the unions have destroyed any semblance of that time. They have given us two job families and latchkey kids just to name a couple of downgrades to the American way of life.
