All Natural

OH...MY...GOD! 13 pounds 13 ounces, 23.5 inches long by natural childbirth. I repeat, no c-section and no painkillers. I bow to her prowess as a woman.

Cute baby, but man oh man is he big! I had c-sections for mine, 7lb 4.5oz, 19.25 inches long and 6lb 8oz, 19 inches long a boy and girl respectively.

All those numbers mean nothing to me. Is that big then? I presume so based on Patty's comment. It is beyond me though, why anyone would want to bring a child into this horrible world.

I've always remembered Carol Burnett's description of childbirth: "Take your lower lip and stretch it over the back of your head." 🐛

It's hubby's doing in the first place, Moonshine; logical consequence. Bad enough to have to push that big boy out, but now Mom gets to lug 13 pounds and growing around all day for at least a year. Whew!

I don't see where prowess has anything to do with it. He was coming out whether she wanted him to or not. At that size, she probably didn't need to push. Just stand up and let gravity take it from there.
