I am starting to think Khrushchev was a keen eye for visually appealing artwork. This one would not be on the "keep" list.

Looking at just the top half of the image, I kinda like it. The bottom half futzes it all up.

There's your problem – the title is bad. It should be "Woman Watching TV." The artist was ahead of her time.

It took me a while, but I finally interpreted why I find it appealing -- it's the pathos of a mother (left figure) being proud her little one (uppermost part of right figure) is striking out on its own while concerned/disappointed her baby doesn't seem to fully understand the concept behind why their species is called 'facehuggers' rather than 'scalphuggers.'
