Atlas Obscura

Something tells me the average WU-vie could spend all day exploring this site of strange places.

This is a great find, Paul. I found the site awhile back when I was doing honeymoon research on travel websites and I debated posting about it here. But I got busy with other things and forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it up 😊

mario - it's a bit complicated 😊 in a nutshell, I would love to move over there, or even visit. you might not know, but I have a 10 year old son. as a single parent, there's just no extra money for trips to Norway, or anywhere else. getting to the gas station can be an adventure sometimes. and as for moving, I would need my ex's permission to take our son (which he won't give), or I would have to leave him here (which I won't do). so unless I stumble across a wealthy benefactor in the near future, Norway will have to wait 😊

I've been there many times and never had that problem. Could be your browser (I use Opera) and security settings. I'm sorry that happened though.

I noticed Firefox's adblock blocked a bunch of stuff from an adserver called bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adserver.bs

I wouldn't run any browser without a pop-up blocker or ad blocker.
