Humph. What's Junior Parker doing there? That's actually a pretty good album cover. It's a parody of the Levy's rye bread ads that used to be all over the NYC subways (you don't have to be Jewish to love Levy's). In fact, if you google Levy's rye bread ads, that very same album cover shows up.

crc, I think Orleans is in there because the sleeve portrait has a slightly homoerotic vibe. The back side of the sleeve is very similar to the front.

And truth be told, I came across a few of those albums while going through my mother's belongings after she died. So, they weren't as obscure as you might think.
