Similar to the Kinetic Grand Championship in Humboldt County, California. This event was started in Ferndale, California in 1969. It began when one man welded extra wheels on his kids tricycle, a friend saw it, created his own version, and challenged him to a race. It is a large event every year. I was able to attend it one year for one day of the three day event many years ago.

Frankly, I'm disappointed at my compatriots. Most of it is not nearly weird enough to do proper homage to Hieronymus.
