Campaigned in armor

I think elections would be greatly improved if all politicians campaigned while wearing full suits of armor.

When he died in late 1963, the Chicago Tribune mentioned he had been a 1940 candidate for 1st ward committeeman. If he had won, I'm sure that would have been stated in the article. Ten years later, in 1950, Gailing was sued by a fellow Republican for bilking him out of nearly all his life savings by promising the victim a $12,000 a year job regardless of who was elected.
