Chloroform Cologne

Advertised in The Queen magazine, 1901. Apparently Queen Victoria was a fan of chloroform vapors.

Buying her a fancy toilet cologne sure beats having to pull the old "Does this handkerchief smell like chloroform?" trick.

Whether Queen Victoria was in general a fan or not I cannot tell. She did, however, have it administered as an anæsthetic during at least one of her (many) child births, and definitely approved of it on that occasion, and for that purpose.

Beware of the doctor recommending the product; he's apparently a fan of self-medication.
