I'm assuming the difference between this and plain old Scotch Tape is the pink dispenser and the price.

@Virtual -- It's nothing like the Scotch tape you use for wrapping packages. The adhesive on this sticks to damp objects and yet peels off easily, sort of a mariner's Post-It. Also, the tape is porous, so you can't seal anything closed with it. It has more in common with 3M's Micropore medical tape than with the Scotch tape in your office drawer.
