Kermit who? I've been staring at this photo for 3 hours and still don't see anything.

One of these days they will come across an asteroid where Oscar pops out and grabs the spacecraft.

Ok.. Here's a serious question: Years ago one of the 1st Mars missions used (I think) Snoopy as a mascot and sent him with the payload. Why didn't they send Marvin home? Wouldn't he have been the OBVIOUS choice?

BTW, I still don't see Kermit!

Too bad Cookie Monster's demons got the better of him. Here was the last I've heard of him. :long:
BTW HERE is Kermit. But he likes to be left alone! :lol:

Expat, look at the pic. Center top, about one inch down there is a small crater, that is his eye. The greater-than sign just down and slightly left of the eye is his mouth. Can you make it out now?

If he's supposed to be facing left then I see something but WOW what a stretch!

For the best cookie monster imitation CLICK HERE It's Sulfur Hexafluoride gas. :coolsmile:

@ Expat: Actually NASA did use Marvin's likeness on the mission patch for the Spirit rover, launched in 2003 (LINK). Also of note, Spirit's sister rover, Opportunity, which was launched at about the same time, used Daffy as Duck Dodgers for its mission patch.

I stand corrected! I try to stay on top of what NASA & JPL are doing but I never searched out the patches!

IF_MISSED_PATCHES% THEN
Modify_Search_Parameters
Search_Parameters = Search_Parameters AND Patches
END
END IF
