Texas justice: Yet another supposedly-heinous criminal has been proved not guilty by subsequent DNA evidence, this one a man sentenced in 1985 to 25 yrs for rape, by prosecutors who were absolutely certain of his guilt (which is great news, except that the man had died in prison in 1999). Jonathon Sharkey, 44, a long-time attention freak in Minnesota (candidate for governor in 2006), who calls himself The Impaler to reflect his status as a vampire ("vampyre," he says), was charged with harassing a young lady he had taken a shine to even though she got tired of him fast (and threatened to turn him over to her society of vampire hunters). Why is it always vampires. The never think their pixies or werewolves or golems. I've done the whole LARP thing as a vampire, it's fun but anyone who takes it that far needs some real help. 99.9% of the people I have met who ae into the whole vamp thing casually or hard core are usually nothing like what they want to portray: tall, gaunt and menacingly sexy (which includes me). Why not try for something really cool, like an Immortal ("I am Conner MacLeod of the clan MacLeod"). You're still going to live forever, and you get swords!!

I'm all for sex change operations if that is what you want, but I also think 16 is too young.
