Denim Panties

More denim weirdness. Designer Y/Project has come out with denim panties. On social media, people have nicknamed them “Janties” (short for Jeans Panties). They're available from retailer SSense, for $315. From their website:

Denim can be cheeky. And eye-catching. These “brief-style shorts” can be worn under or over pants, meaning they’re far more versatile than what you’d traditionally expect from a pair of briefs. Underwear that doesn’t need to stay “under there.”

Virtual,

Since there isn't much that's more comfortable than old underwear, I'm waiting for someone to market underwear made from old underwear.

One word: Chafing.
No more needs to be said about this item of clothing.

@crc -- Making new underwear from old already seems to be a big thing in Japan, and the material is readily available -- I'm always seeing advertisements where women are selling their used panties.

When my daughter was 16 she cut a pair of jeans to look like this. Fortunately, my wife caught her before she went off to school in them....
