Dr. Rich Lather

'Dr. Rich Lather' commercial - Englewood Hospital from Kurt Ritta on Vimeo.

See, here's what I don't understand: when the two hands are shown scrubbing towards the end, are they the same intelligent face-bearing hands depicted earlier, bashing their facial features against one another till they all fall off? I mean, that's the logic of this nightmare world, right? But if so, where's the screaming?

I've got to hand it to the Doc, not one mention of phones, TV controllers, drawer handles, etc in hospital rooms.

Handwashing is the most effective way to ward off disease. If you sing Mary had a little lamb or happy birthday to yourself while washing up you kill off most of the germs. That said, this PSA was strange.

For the sake of clarity, it's important to note that the singing mentioned by patty is for the purpose of timing how long you wash. The songs themselves have no known effect on the cleanliness of your hands.

Damn it Steve!!!!! You've let the cat out of the bag now! We had Patty convinced that it was the song working magic on those little bugs! 😠
