Driving at seven years old

When your Dad says its time to go to church and you don't want to -- what's the solution? Take the car for a spin, get chased by the police and show up on the national news.

It all seems so "OJ" until the little tyke hops out at the end and runs for the garage.

What's so @$#$ing strange about kids being able to drive? Farm kids operate tractors as soon as they can reach the peddles! That includes clutching through gears and right/left breaks on some tractors.

I'm 61 and came home from the hospital in Mom & Dad's car. Growing up we went everywhere in a car. I remember sitting on his lap steering the car. Honest! It ain't someLONG LOST MAGICAL MYSTERY..

I'm with Expat on this. My husband was allowed to drive the farm truck around his parent's property all the time before he got his license. He'd even take the truck a few miles up the road to the neighbor's farm so he could catch the bus in the morning to go to school and nobody thought anything of it.

If you were trying to run with three pounds of metal loosely attached to your belt you'd put your hand on it too.
