I hate it when this happens... a nice day at the beach....clear sky....and then a jet drops from the sky.

It's got to be tough to get out of the flight suit and loose from the parachute.

The problem with most modern day aircraft is that the ONLY reason they don't crash is that there is enough thrust from whatever engines they have to keep them moving fast enough to crate some air-flow! Interrupt enough airflow and they have the glide path of a rock.

BTW, kudos to the pilot for his actions to avoid disaster.
