They remind me of people who got taken to the cleaners by our politicians, or maybe they are dressed up actors from the set of The Beverly Hillbillies.

It's been said that hillbillies are the only "minority" group that can be made fun of these days. That, and the stereotypical hillbilly girl wearing skimpy clothes (think Daisy Duke) surely made them an easy punch line for '60s advertising.
