Grandma Bragg used a potion called "Lacy LeBeau's Laxative Tea" and as a youngster who didn't know better, asked me one time on a visit if I was "regular." In my innocence I answered no and she had me drink a cup. It was not unpleasant and I didn't think much of it until that night when it kicked in. I almost didn't make it to the toilet and my mother figured out what had happened. She and grandma had a loud disagreement for the next five minutes. I see it on the shelf at the grocers from time to time.

There are even more details from the story here: http://www.1939nyworldsfair.com/inbad/inbad.aspx

The original cartoon, produced by Walter Lantz, is presumed lost.
