I once had a colour TV that had no audio. I got it for free. I also had from before a small and cheap black and white that worked for the audio.

I have a great 27 inch color tv that's over 20 years old and was given to me by a dear friend. He had it from hid bachelor days. It works perfectly but just not hdmi.

We had up to 8 channels in the 60's (1 UHF channel, sometimes). I'll never forget when we got our first color TV. The rich wood console, dual speaker holes, but only 1 speaker installed. Beat the heck out of the goofy color screen dad put over the B&W to simulate color.
