By all reports acupuncture has been around a whole lot longer than "Western" medicine. Now, can we get back to the body swap thingie?

At least he's not a fundamentalist christian. As long as he is a true practitioner of science does it matter?

Just freakin' great! We have a clown for a Prime Minister and a voodoo doctor as Minister of Science and Technology! What the heck? How did the selection process go for this appointment, I wonder? I can only surmise that a real doctor, with real medical credentials/qualifications may offer real objections or alternatives to our Federal government's further attempts to dismantle our subsidized health care.

Acupuncture and Chiropractic 'medicine' are NOT sciences. Let me repeat that, folks: Acupuncture and Chiropractic 'medicine are NOT sciences. They are pseudosciences.

The monkeys are running the zoo here in Canuckland!

I don't know the difference between a "science" and a "pseudoscience" but I do know that I've had acupuncture stop my worst ever migraine when all other drugs failed, and it got my mom to quit smoking after 35 years and 2 packs a day. Pseudo or real, it works!

My bad with that agent J. Maybe I should have written that a little more clear.

According to the article (and Wikipedia) he has studied both Biomechanics and Psychology, both of which require an understanding of the scientific process. It is that understanding of science to which I was referring, which is the same process that fundalmentalist christians think they understand but don't really have a clue.
