Yep, Alex. Barris was probably the epitome of the California Car Culture movement.
It's not as unique as it seems unless it is one cart that has been reworked over the years. I see little differences, like the cleft in the chin, the letter on the hat and possibly the length and shape of the nose. I wouldn't be surprised if it was treated like the Love Machine over time.
