Globetrotters Costume Party

Here is a history of The Globetrotters Club, which is still in operation today.

Shortly after their founding, in 1947, they threw a costume party, pictured here.

I hope such events are still part of their activities.

i actually like dogs as much as cats, i grew up out in the country and we had both. the cocker looks bored and totally unimpressed by the event. there seems to be an african theme which makes some of the pics a little uncomfortable to look at. i'm only marginally pc, but that jumped out. but hey, it was in 47 even expat was just a pup! 😉

It was a joke patty, just a small joke (very small), a marginally pc joke. I sometime get very tired of the pc stuff, and don't really care anymore, don't worry.
