Richard, it's not a real animal, but a sort of cross between a tricycle and a rocking horse.

@ges: Oh! I thought it was a "toy" for a pet! They do make those for pets, and sometimes with good reasons - for example, putting wheels on tortoises that have lost a leg does make them zoom around quite a bit. I clearly didn't look closely enough.
