Gumby on the Moon

I tend to forget--and perhaps a younger generation never knew--just how weird Gumby was, right from his first adventure, seen here.

Art Clokey was a genius. He passed away a few years ago and AFAIK no one really announced his death in keeping with his pioneering work. The Gumby work was pretty avant garde and aimed more at adults than kid-vid. I think that Wallace and Grommit owe their existence to Clokey.

I prefer to "Pokey Moon" as long as nothing is swinging in front. :red: :cheese:

The movie "Apollo 18" was inspired by Gumby, who knew!
