I've been a firm believer in witches ever since Elizabeth Montgomery convinced me! Sabrina didn't hurt either.

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster."

If the guy is really a satanist I want nothing to do with him. That stuff freaks me out.

The Church of the Craft of Wicca has been a legally recognized, federally protected religion in the US since 1984.
We are not satanists, we are not "hokey", we have very little in common with television "witches", and we are not amused by these potentially slanderous comments.
I've been reading Chuck's column since it was in my local paper more than back in 1989. If you're going to start allowing degrading comments on a very real, perfectly legitimate religion, I may have to change my reading habits.

Cindy--surely if you have been following NOTW for so long, you know that pretty much "nothing is sacred" and we make fun of all religions (and all sports, all books, all politicians, all criminals, etc, etc) equally.

A Note to my fellow WUvians RE: Cindy, Don't listen to her SHE'S A WITCH!
@Cindy, ALL RELIGIONS ARE BS! As to that being Slanderous, Read the rest of the constitution, The First amendment might be a good start for you! :coolsmirk:

"... we are not amused ..." Are you channeling Queen Victoria?

If Wiccans are so powerful, why haven't they taken over the world in order to make it a better place?

My friend used to be a Wiccan and she never lost her sense of humor.
