I Brought You Into This World…

...and I'll take you out! Who hasn't heard of this joking phrase often attributed to exasperated parents. Well, an 83 year old San Antonio man must have meant it even if he didn't say it. Early Friday morning, after his 50 year old son refused to stop playing drums Dad shot him. The son was grazed on the head by the bullet and ran up the street to call for help. If at 50 you are going to still live with a parent then it is advisable to follow house rules. The elderly man was charged with aggravated assault but when he gets out I bet Junior will listen next time dad says to stop that noise.

the old guy obviously has a screw loose, but the son is an ass. i doubt they will live together anymore when the old man gets out of jail. i get this mental picture of a guy running down the street dodging bullets, but i don't think it was quite that bad.

do you really think so? at 50 this guy is deliberately agitating his 83 year old father. he sounds like your average loser to me. it is probably the house that jackass grew up in.

that's terrible. there was a resident in the nursing home i worked at who was similar. she was too physically debilitated to be at home but had been living with her son till he couldn't take care of her anymore. she was still very demanding. he visited every evening and worked during the day. he was not married (suprise) and mom was 'at deaths door' for years. she was in her eighties and he was old enough to retire. soon after he dropped dead of a heart attack and she lived a few more years. i felt so sorry for him, he never lived a day of his life without being under her thumb. the only way he escaped was into death.
