Johnson Smith Catalog Item #1

Starting a new series: weird stuff from famed seller of novelties Johnson Smith.

I will be extracting from two catalogs: one from an indeterminate year of the 1930s, and one from the year 1950.

This entry, from the 1930s.

WOW - For a quarter I can look like an idiot. All I would need to complete the ensemble is too much to drink and a lampshade hat.

BTW - Does anybody think anyone over 12 actually bought them???

Can't wait to see your next entries.

Come up to someone in the dark with those and you'd scare the bejeebus out of them.
