Keeping Mentally Fit

Is the narrator drunk? Of just folksy?

The lesson learned: look around you and you will probably spot a lunatic.

Conversation between Tommy's mom and dad after the doc talks to them, "Well, the kid over heard us and talked to the doctor, what now?" says mom.
"We're just g0ing to have to keep him then. He will graduate and move out eventually I guess." replies dad.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you. 😉

Doc is a bit over-folksy.

But Tommy's acting (or lack thereof) is cringeworthy.

I find that a periodic application of mental floss keeps my mind open and functioning properly.

We live in a small town (less than 8,000) and rented from one of the old time doctors. Although he was retired, he acted and practically looked the same as the Doc in this video. Everybody in town knew Doc Cole. Definitely the protégé of the 50's doctor. As far as Tommy goes, he's a whiner and a troublemaker. He needs to go.
