Kids Will Love It—If They Don’t See This Commercial

I've actually given these to my kids and grandkids, but after watching the advertisement from the 80's, I'm not sure I will buy them again. These Kinder Eggs are made of a chocolate hollow egg with another capsule and the prize inside.

The toys are not as cool anymore either -- Any German translations? (besides "I'm creepy and I want you to eat this?")

I actually remember watching this commercial once or twice can't remember when though. I was later than the 80's though.

Kinder is a big hit over here. Their commercials now zero in on the fact that their chocolate has more milk in it so it's better for the kids. The bars and eggs are always shown in kids' hands because they are so small! The price tag isn't though! In short.... serious rip off.

I used to get these as a kid--they were really cool for a few years. The toys used to have all kinds of gears and working parts to assemble (bonus: I don't speak German...)

Now though....95% of them just contain strange action figures the likes of which I am still trying to figure out.
