Kosher Cannabis

Vireo Health, a company in New York that supplies medical marijuana, is now having their product certified Kosher. Apparently this would not normally be necessary except that some of the cannabis will be used in baked goods. So, because some of it will be eaten it must be certified Kosher for those who keep Kosher. Pot, its becoming more mainstream everyday.

These man made-up religious food restrictions are so out of place and date as to be more detrimental to whatever religion they purport to serve than anything else.

This isn't 500BC, 1500AD, 1916AD, we're not living in a desert without electrical power nor are we at war and saving beef for the troops. (et al)

There are a lot more Jewish prisoners just because the kosher meals are better. Something most of us at WU know first hand :gulp: 😕
