That's no fun! All the flavoring from the priest's/reverend's/pastor's/shaman's sweat, body grease and urine particulates will be missing!

I attended a Baptist church in my younger days and we had to pick our own wafers off a plate. So, does this launch the wafers to any distance? I can see the padre standing at the front of the sanctuary and shooting wafers to the parishioners all the way in the back pews.

WOW! WUvians really do think alike sometimes! I was thinking the same thing as both you guys! But being raised catholic there was a priest or maybe a bishop standing on the alter firing a belt fed version!

BTW This thing was designed to dispense wafers infused with wine prior to baking, The body and blood of Christ! Two great tastes that go great together!? 😖

I liked to pretend to sneeze on the communion wafer plate before passing it when I was a kid. Church was the biggest reason for my agnosticism when I quit being forced to attend.

I saw an ad for pre-packaged single servings. There was a small cup of wine/juice with a tear-off lid which contained a wafer.

Those would be something for Catholic communion since the wafer is considered to be trans mutated into the body of Christ and therefore a blessed object. Most other religions see communion as a representation only.

They should get Pez to help them out. Think what the addition of a figurehead (as it were) would do to these things. Pope Francis would be big now.
