I don't follow contemporary wrestling, but some cursory googling seems to reveal that there are still "little people" active in the sport.

But nothing like these glory days, I imagine...

You just hit on my maternal grandmother's passion! She'd make Grandpa drive for hours on a Saturday night to go see wrestling and it was a toss-up between Gorgeous George's 'gold' bobby pins and the midgets.

Things settled down a bit after they got on TV but it was the thrill of the ring-side that fueled her passion!
