back in the days when kids actually did something that didn't involve staring blankly at a screen with a game controller in their hands they were wild about building the latest model kits. And when it came to wild and weird car kits no one beat Don "Big Daddy" Roth and his "Rat Fink" designs. He was becoming famous for his real life car designs when Revell offered him a deal he couldn't turn down to use some of his designs in their model kits, and history was made.

Just who was that aimed at and why. I didn't see anything in anybody's comments that disparaged either the garbage truck kit or anyone who had one.
