More Weirdness From PETA

You'd think the President of the United States has more important worries than a house fly. Apparently PETA doesn't though. During an interview on Tuesday President Obama swatted and killed a pesky fly. Like most people would do, but not those bug lovin' PETA people. A spoksman for the group said the act shows the President isn't perfect even though his Senate record shows him voting for animal rights often. They are sending a 'humane' catch and release fly trap to the White House. Maybe one Secret Service Agent could be designated fly catcher for the President. Doesn't PETA have anything better to do?

Yes. PETA should be ignored or destroyed. They go way over the line 99% of the time and cause more trouble than help. I love the South Park episode, though, when the PETA people were marrying and mating with the animals. Hilarious!

WTF?? I mean really, a fly? I could have told you the president isn't perfect, he's human. Do they forget that humans are animals also? They would be OK with a rhino swatting at flies with its tail out of blind instinct, but for humans we can't do the same? Nice animal rights guys!

PETA - People for Eating Tasty Animals! That's what I always thought it meant.

All of God's Creatures, hot off the grill - Mr. Meaty slogan.

As an animal lover from way back, I was once a huge supporter of PETA. They originally fought for good causes and were to be admired. Unfortunately, they've disintegrated now to the point of being absurd and laughable. I think it's really a shame

Good article, Patty :cheese:
