There is a television show called "Modern Marvels" that often shows how different things are manufactured. This picture of women making wallpaper is interesting to me, not weird, actually. Nowadays, with video. this manufacturing process could be shown closer-up and in more detail.

I've heard of hand-flocked wallpaper. Never bothered to think about how it was made.
