At first, I saw a planter full of roses, and that caused me to guess the region. I'm counting that as a correct guess.

The race referenced is the Big Bend open road race and it still hapeens annually.

@tadchem - That was the album cover that I discovered that I was heterosexual. Next was the National Geographic.
