National Use-Up-Your-Leftovers-In-A-Jell-O-Salad Week

This ad ran in the May 11, 1959 issue of Life magazine. So assuming that it's the week of May 11 as you read this (which it is as I post it), then I'm sure you'll want to celebrate the week by tossing whatever leftovers you might have (half a burrito, a few slices of pizza) into some jello and serving it up for dinner.

What flavour do you think would go well with chili? That's the only thing I have left over, and it's already made with leftovers. I have a package of sugar-free raspberry jello. Not sure how that will turn out.

Sugar-free jello belongs in the seventh circle of Hell and at your mother-in-law's table. You want lemon or lime jello for your chili.

I prefer Tom Lehrer's approach.

In general as well, but also specifically in the case of Jell-O.
