Give yourself a big treat.

1) Go to the home page of artist Chris Mars. (Note that site plays pleasant but loud music automatically.)

2) Click on the choice of FILM.

3) Click on the icon that looks like the image you see here to the right.

4) Sit back and be amazed.

It doesn't work here either in Firefox or IE8 even if I tell it to allow the windows media player add-on. Most likely the person has deleted the video as not to use up or pay for the bandwidth needed to play it for so many people now that Paul has made it popular.

Thanks very much dumbfounded .. the net isn't perfect but your link is. It's nice that there are folks here on WU that help out in that way. That direct link of yours even works on Firefox.

Worked for me on Firefox.

Strange stuff 4sur but she's better at concepts than at digitizing them.

@gallipoli: No problems here. Check your browser settings and/or stop using IEx.

Wow! I snuck a funny-pun in there and didn't even notice! DF is rubbing off on me!

I can't find anything on the net to say RentTheSky are serving up anything dodgy or have been blacklisted anywhere, but it could be a false (or even true) positive coming back from your AV software on the .mov itself.

The golden rule is if in doubt don't download, so I'd just give this a miss if I were you mario.

Works fine on Safari with no pop-ups.
(my pop-up blocker is 'ON')

It can be viewed by the public on Facebook (which should get around ads and firewalls)

that is an extremely bizarre flick. but then i suppose i didn't really need to point that out. 😊

Okay, it seems you need QuickTime 7 (or compatible) installed to view the film, and Windows Media Player 11 doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

Also, I've followed both Paul's link and mine with up-to-date versions of Sophos, Windows Defender, Ad-Aware and ClamAV running (not at the same time, obviously) and I don't see a peep out of any of them. So whatever spam or firewall warnings other people are seeing don't appear to be originating with Chris Mars' site.
