60 years on these old "how to live" films seem weird and out of place for today but after WWII (like I remember) a "new order" had cast itself onto our landscape. People were moving off the farms and into the cities & factory towns and those hicks from the sticks needed to learn how to live in among cityfolk!

That one was actually not bad. The messy guy looked like
Colonel Klink from 'Hogan's Heroes'. Not a close enough shot to be sure though.
